clarify and identify their presenting and underlying issues and
needs. They are then able to contract a range of customised interventions.
CAREER
PLANNING:
The catalyst
is usually a crisis or arrival at a life transition stage. Our clients
cover the full range of those working in business and the professions,
sector and self-employment. Their issues include lack of direction,
need for future planning, decline in performance, planning skill
development, exploring study options, self marketing planning, a
need for an impartial sounding board, coping with work place stress
and burnout and, increasingly, those who seek a better quality of
work/life balance.
Our career
planning model has four stages:
1 Assessment and interpretation of work and life preferences and
passions for the future.
2 Exploring options - the obvious ones and those arrived at by being
encouraged to think outside the square.
3 Researching those options and testing them against reality.
4 Identifying goals, developing an action plan and a self-marketing
package.
In three
to five hours we will lead clients through a process that will help
them make decisions that are viable, satisfying and rewarding.
