The Jobs Card Sort is organised into the same categories as the Industries card sort. It describes jobs that require specialist qualifications, experience or skills, linked to a particular field plus 2 additional categories that describe generalist roles e.g. administration, clerical and general management etc.
Generalist jobs are plentiful and transferable across the marketplace and will often be key positions in organisations - all not for profit sectors i.e. government, local government, charities operate like a business with central systems, processes and job functions.
